Solana Seeds UK invites students, teachers, growers and customers to an Open Day on 20^th of September at Solana Seeds UK Ltd. The event will be the final stage of the “Potato Growing Challenge” while also being a chance for growers and customers to look at and talk about the Solana varieties.

Former Solana-Agro-Service (Solagro) operates under its new name Solana RUS as of July 2017. The new company name is one result of the realign­ment of the company.

On May 18^th  is the international "Fascination of Plants Day" which will be celebrated in numerous countries with a lot events. Events will take place from today until May 31^st.

Baby Lou, one of Solana’s most recent potato varieties has been tested successfully by IPL. IPL are responsible for trialling, sourcing and procurement internationally for Asda, the United Kingdom’s second largest supermarket chain.  Baby Lou performed both very well in the growing and storage trials and with the various taste panellists.

The Solana group, along with Den Hartigh, expands its product range by five new varieties. They are innovative, high yielding, and fulfil most customers’ needs and requirements.

As of 01. April 2017 Christian Soltau joins the team of Solana group as Head of Pro­duction Manage­ment.

As of 01 February 2017 Peter Kreijger will join the team of Solana-Group as Area Manager for Africa and the Middle East.

From 1st January 2017 the Rules and Practices of the Inter-European Trade in Potatoes will apply, also known as RUCIP 2017.
