Information on the situation in the Corona crisis

Due to the increasing spread of the corona virus, we would like to take this opportunity to inform you that the Solana Group is fully complying with our orders and deliveries as well as other proven services, both nationally and internationally, as planned and without significant restrictions.

International deliveries of our seed potatoes may be slightly delayed due to the current situation at border crossings. However, our experience of recent weeks shows that our employees are successfully meeting these challenges with their experience and negotiating power in close cooperation with our customers.

In this particular situation, anyone can help to slow down the spread of the virus. We take this responsibility into account by continuously taking measures in accordance with the recommendations of the responsible authorities (above all the Robert Koch Institute) to minimise the risk of infection for everyone involved. Specifically, for example, within the framework of internal processes we adapt the handling - and thus a delicate point of contact - to ensure that barriers and additional hygienic measures are used to maintain the necessary distance between truck drivers and handling personnel.
